Frequently Asked Questions

I’m having trouble with putting in a game schedule. I tried to do it but I couldn’t figure out how to plug in the opponents? I’d be happy to do it if you can tell me how and I’ve also attached our game schedule(s) if you think it would be easier for you to do it.

You will have to Create a new team as an opponent.

Under Team Admin, select Add New on the right side under Team Administration

Put in the team name, then make sure you change WEB DISPLAY column to NO, so it wont create a team page on your web site.

Would it be possible to have a new tab added under “Team Info” that said “Team News”? I’d like an area, if possible, for the head coaches to just post miscellaneous updates on things if they want to.

To Add a New Web Page, here is how you do it.

1) Under Site Admin, select "Build New Page".

* There are different types of pages you can create, there are Samples under where you "Select Page Type to Create". Once you create the page, you will have to go to the update section to update the page.

2) When the page is created you may want to update it. This is under "Update Web Pages"

3) To Make it Live and on the site, go to "Menu Admin"

a) For a new page, select the "Add New" on the "Update Menu Items",

b) on the top, under "Select the Default Page When user clicks on the main item:" select the new page. Then On the "Category on Navigation Bar", select the Category you wish it to be under.

If you would like the new page under a current navigation item, such as "Program Info",

From the Menu Admin, select the "Update" Radio Button, then the page you would like it under, such as "Program Info".

I find the “Teams/Divisions” and the “Schedules” tab to be basically the same thing. What would you think about getting rid of one of them just to make it simpler? Would that cause any unexpected problems?

Schedules will give you a 1 shot to view all games, team/Divisions lists all the teams in a division. I would suggest once you add the games we can look @ it once again and see if you would still like them removed.

There is a “click here for PDF version of league schedule” area but I’m having trouble figuring out how to add that. I assumed that it was the same as the other file attachments but I must be missing something.

Regarding the .pdf schedule, it is looking for a specific file name. If you notice under the league Admin area if you click on the grade on the 2nd area there is a .pdf schedule upload. When there, you can select the .pdf file to upload. What it does is uploads the file and calls it GR?_schedule.pdf. (the ? represents the grade).

I have intraleague play and I don’t want to display a team page for the teams that we play against but I want them on shown on the schedule for my leagues team, how do I do this?

If you have intra-league play and don’t want the intra league team to have a page on the site the “Web Display” indicator on the team needs to be set to “NO”. Under “Team Admin” select the league the team is in. Then go to the “Team Administration” section and check the “Update Existing” radio button. Change the “Web Display” field to ‘No’ for the team you would not like displayed. This will allow the teams to be scheduled, but not shown on the web site under on the “Teams/Divisions” navigation bar or the League web site page.

How do I add or update games?

To update games under "League Admin" select the league to update (Rke, JR, ...). On the top left you will see "Schedule Update/Score Reporting by Date". That is where you enter scores as well as add or change games.

How do you update the team sponsors, team logos or display their team picture?

From the Main Admin, Under the "Team Admin Area" select the league to update. On the right side you will see "Team Administration", select the "Update Existing" radio button, then the "Go Get Em" button. There you will see a drop down for the team logo, and can enter the sponsor, select the sponsors logo and sponsors URL.

NOTEs:

* The Team Logo is in the "team_logo" folder on the server.

* The Team Pictures are in the "team_pictures" folder on the server.

* The Sponsors logo is in the "sponsors_logo" folder on the server.
